The club
Not a lottery company. A gym.
Bluewater Gymnastics Club Sarnia is a registered non-profit. Ontario Lotto exists because running classes, paying coaches, and maintaining quality equipment costs money.
More than twenty years on the floor.
Since the early 2000s, Bluewater Gymnastics Club Sarnia has provided gymnastics training to individuals across the Sarnia-Lambton and Bluewater regions. Our programming ranges from introductory motor skills classes for toddlers to advanced competitive streams for athletes competing at provincial, national, and international levels. Gymnastics acts as a foundation for physical literacy, and our facility is committed to keeping sports open to all.
To achieve our goals, we require stable, diversified funding channels. The annual fees paid for recreational classes cover basic operating expenses, but they are insufficient to finance long-term development. Equipment such as gymnastics vaults, balance beams, parallel bars, and safety foam pits must comply with FIG safety regulations and are capital-intensive. To cover these expenses without passing the burden onto families, we created the Ontario Lotto electronic raffle.
The mechanics of our 50/50 raffle are designed to be clean, simple, and regulated. Half of all gross sales is returned directly to a raffle winner in Sarnia or the broader Ontario community. The other half is retained directly by the club. No private owners extract profits from the draw, and no corporate parent entities absorb the earnings. Every dollar kept goes directly toward youth programs.
Programs Funded by Your Contributions
- Recreational Gymnastics & Physical Literacy We provide weekly classes and open gym hours for infants, adolescents, and adults. These programs focus on strength, balance, coordination, and building active habits early in life. Raffle proceeds allow us to keep recreational tuition prices affordable for local households.
- High-Performance Competitive Coaching Our competitive team trains up to 25 hours per week under international coaches. These athletes represent Ontario at national tournaments and elite invitationals. Raffle funding subsidizes team travel, entry fees, and choreographers.
- Community Outreach and Subsidized Spots We believe that a child's access to sports should not be limited by their family's household budget. Through our raffle-funded outreach program, we partner with local social services to offer fully subsidized class placements to families facing financial challenges.
- Safety and Infrastructure Upgrades Safety is our primary operational priority. Funds are regularly allocated to inspect and replace landing mats, purchase safety harnesses, sanitize pit systems, and keep the mechanical heating and ventilation units in our Sarnia facility operating at peak performance.
Transparent Advertising Partnership
To reach players across Ontario and run our digital raffle portal, we work in partnership with Academia Española de Marketing S.L, a specialized agency based in Madrid, Spain. They serve as our official Advertiser, managing our web infrastructure, maintaining digital compliance, managing data security systems, and overseeing marketing outreach. This collaboration ensures that we operate a secure, highly technical platform that meets AGCO requirements while allowing our coaches to focus on the training floor.
